Design

German design quality is at the forefront of Medion Erazer P17613, thanks to superior materials. As a gaming laptop, it has an aggressive design that is sturdy and looks stylish. On the lid, there is an etched ERAZER logo that adds beauty and proclaims the honour. However, it is a bit heavy than other gaming laptops, around 5.51lbs (2.5KG).

Despite its heavy weight, we found its design pleasing and attractive. Unless you are a commuter, you’ll find the design of the Erazer P17613 to be agreeable if not good-looking.

Keyboard

It is the best part of this Medion gaming laptop and we loved it. The keyboard on the Erazer P17613 is backlit and offers appropriate key travel. The keys are well places, while we found the keys to be hard and durable. The presence of such sturdy keys means you don’t have to fear that you may damage the keys while pressing them hard during gaming sessions.

The best thing about this keyboard is that it is equipped with anti-ghost technology. For those who don’t know what this is, it means that the keyboard and recognise and respond to all the keys at once. This is a feature that you won’t find in many budget gaming laptops.

Display

Now let’s talk about the full HD display on this gaming laptop that has amazed many. Medion had equipped the Erazer P17613 with a large 17.3-inch wide display that is nothing but a high-quality monitor. The screen resolution on this display is 1920 x 1080p, which we found extremely pleasing, thanks to crispy visuals.

The laptop has only 7mm bezels which offer maximum display and ultimate in-game experience. We found the colours to be vibrant and lively, while playing The Witcher.

Connectivity

Medion has added a decent number of ports on the Erazer P17613 that we found sufficient. The laptop houses two USB 3.0 ports, two Type-C USB 3.1 ports, an HSMI 2.0 output, an SD card reader slot and a mini DisplayPort. The addition of SD card reader and USB-C ports is a relief, however, we missed the thunderbolt 3. Nevertheless, the port selection is enough to connect all the peripherals you want to attach.
